Ravi K Chandran's Yaan getting ready

Ace cinematographer Ravi K Chandran has turned director with the Tamil flick called Yaan starring Jiiva and Thulasi Nair. The film is said to be a thriller and is being made in three languages simultaneously – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The film is presently under production and the team is planning to wind up the production by February. Yaan will be released for next summer.

Produced by RS Infotainment, the film has big names in the industry as the crew. Harris Jayaraj is the music director; Sabu Cyril is the art director while Sreekar Prasad is taking care of editing. Interestingly, Ravi is not taking care of the camera; he has got Manush Nandan doing the job. Above all, he has got Oscar winner Resul Pookutty in charge of sound mixing and Brindha will take care of the choreography.

The shooting has taken place in Chennai, Hyderabad, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Iceland. Yaan's shooting was held in two schedules in Hyderabad and Karjat. Some other pending schedules are expected to take place in Mumbai and Morocco.
