Rajinikanth says no celebration for his birthday

Superstar Rajinikanth though his spokespersons had conveyed that he does not want any kind of celebration for his birthday which is just two days away on the 12th of December. His manager Riaz tweeted, “Rajinikanth requests his fans not to celebrate his birthday”

This decision comes in the wake of recent deaths of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and also his close friend Cho Ramaswamy when the mood is somber and not conducive for celebrations.
Superstar Rajinikanth, who will turn 66 this December 12, has also requested his fans not to put up poster or banners, through manager Riaz. Right now, he is involved in Shankar’s 2.0 after which he will begin work for his son-in-law Dhanush’s production and Pa Ranjith’s directorial. It is also said that Rajinikanth has turned down Aamir Khan’s request to dub for his character in Tamil for the dubbed version of upcoming wrestling drama Dangal.
