Rajinikanth gives 1 crore for river interlinking project

Superstar Rajinikanth has been taking on the societal issues and in the year 2002, he had said that he would donate a liberal sum for the river interlinking project in the country.

Now he has given Rs 1 crore for this important project. He met a delegation of 16 farmers led by Ayyakannu and assured them of his support to their cause. However, Ayyakannu had reportedly told that he would meet PM Narendra Modi, discuss on this and then would accept the money.

There have been talks that Rajinikanth would be announcing about his political entry in the month of July. He has also been having discussions with many people across the spectrum to get the feel on this issue. Recently he met actress Kasthuri who had tweeted that they discussed about politics. There are many political parties who are waiting Rajinikanth to join their party.
