Last evening, Dhanush via his official Twitter handle had stated that he would be revealing the title of Rajnikanth’s 164th film to be directed by Pa.Ranjith. He had mentioned, “Wunderbar films presents.. superstar Rajinikanth's "thalaivar 161" title will be revealed tom morning 10 am .. #cantgetbiggerthanthis”.
True to his word, this morning at the stroke of 10 AM he revealed the title of the film as Kaala Karikala with a silhouette of Rajinikanth. The tweet read, “Wunderbar films presents .. superstar Rajinikanth in and as #thalaivar164” with an image that read as Kaala.
He also further tweeted saying that the first look poster of the film would be revealed this evening. As of now the cast list in the film has Huma Quereshi, Samuthirakani in important role with Santhosh Narayanan’s music, Sreekar Prasad’s editing and Murali’s cinematography.
