Producer AM Rathnam's daughter-in-law turns a singer

Eminent producer AM Rathnam has bankrolled prestigious projects under his banner Sri Surya Movie Entertainment. His daughter-in-law and wife of his son director Jyothi Krishna, is Aishwarya who has co-produced Yennai Arindhaal, Vedalam and the recent Karuppan.

She is turning a playback singer with a Tamil movie Koothan which is directed by Venky with debutant Rajkumar as the hero. In fact, it was Jyothi Krishna, who was instrumental in bringing Aishwarya’s talents to the film world. The director tested her voice, liked it and made her sing in his Telugu directorial venture Oxygen.

Balz_G, the composer of Koothan says, “Aishwarya is really passionate about her singing and is fast in picking up the melodies. We recorded a peppy dance number with actress Remya Nambeesan and were searching for a new promising voice for the duet songs and were auditioning many. Then we got to know about Aishwarya through a friend.”
