Priyanka Chopra is on a quest for her next hero

Priyanka Chopra continues to shuttle down from New York to Mumbai, balancing her Hollywood and Bollywood projects. And now the ‘Quantico’ star who has started shooting for the third season of the American series has just arrived back in Mumbai to hunt for a hero for her next Bollywood film.

As we all know PeeCee has finally signed her next Bollywood movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after working in Hollywood and apparently the film is very close to her heart.

The SLB and Priyanka project is reportedly titled as ‘Gustakhiyan’ and Priyanka has taken time out to come back to the bay and look for a hero for the film as Bhansali is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Padmavati’.

While initially reports suggested that the likes of Irrfan Khan and Abhishek Bachchan were approached for the role, nothing was made official.

A source close to the development informs, “The film's leading man has to be finalised within this month. Though Bhansali is neck deep in work with ‘Padmavati’, he wants to start this film by mid-2018. The film's pre-production has to be completed latest by March next year. So working backwards, the lead cast has to be decided before the pre-production begins.”

Apart from that, while in Mumbai Priyanka will also devise a promotional strategy for ‘Pahuna’ her Sikkimese production which will premiere at the Toronto film festival next month.
