Pataas out of Sankranti Race!

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's Pataas which was earlier planned for Sankranthi release seem to have opted out of the race. It is said that Dil Raju who bagged the film rights in both the states was concerned about the film trampled between biggies like 'I' and 'Gopala Goopala' and convinced Kalyan Ram to postpone it for January 23rd.

Pataas is directed by a new comer Anil Ravipudi. He previously worked as writer for Ram's Kandireega and Mahesh Babu's Aagadu.Touted to be a romantic mass entertainer, a new comer will be romancing Kalyan Ram in this film. Sai Karthik will be composing the tunes while Sarvesh Murari will be cranking the camera. Kalyan Ram himself will be producing the film on his NTR Arts banner.
