Parineeti Chopra joins 'Kesari' set

Actress Parineeti Chopra has started shooting for the film “Kesari,” which will be directed by Anurag Singh. She will be sharing screen space for the first time with Akshay Kumar in the film. Akshay will essay the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, while Parineeti plays his wife.

Parineeti will also be busy shooting for “Namastey England” with Arjun Kapoor. The actress on Tuesday shared a photograph from an aircraft on her Instagram stories and wrote: "Off for 'Kesari'. She also shared that the photograph was taken by actor Akshay Kumar.

The film, which is produced by filmmaker Karan Johar, is based on the Battle of Saragarhi. It’s slated for 2019 Holi release.
