Oviya in Vishnu's film Silukkuwarpatti Singam

Oviya who is basking in all the attention that she has been getting for her reality show Bigg Boss, had recently expressed her need to get out of the house to take care of her health needs and her request was also accepted.

But, she had already signed a film called Silukkuwarpatti Singam which features Vishnu Vishal before she went into the Bigg Boss House. She had originally played a cameo in the film. But now sources say that they would extend her cameo trying to cash in on the popularity of the actress.

She will be seen in three important scenes, besides a ‘thiruvizha’ song in the film. Since Vishnu and Oviya have known each other for a long time, the actor suggested her name to the director. When Vishnu approached her, she agreed to be a part of the film without a second thought. She got the offer to be in Bigg Boss only at the sets of Silukkuvarpatti Singam. She was last seen in a small role in Hello Naan Pey Pesaren.
