Ordinary is Jannal Oram

Malayalam film Ordinary is being remade into Tamil as Jannal Oram . Starring Parthiban, Vimal, Viddharth, Poorna and Manisha Yadav in the lead roles, the film is directed by Karu Palaniappan of Parthiban Kanavu fame.

The story is set in Pannaikadu, a village, with only one bus service to and from a nearby town. Interestingly, the story is told through the bus conductor, the driver and their interactions with the innocent villagers who are the passengers in the bus. The story unfolds through various humorous situations establishing the one-to-one relationship of villagers with the bus conductor and driver. An unexpected turn of events makes their relationship sore with the villagers and there is a mystery around the story.

The audio of Jannal Oram will be released later this week. Music is by Vidyasagar and it is said to have come out well too. Karu Palaniappan’s last film was Mandira Punnagai, in which he played the lead role besides wielding the megaphone.
