Official announcement from Vijay 61 arrives

Sri Thenandal Films which is bankrolling Vijay 61 has announced the details about the film through a press note that states the following. Incidentally, this is their 100th venture.

Jyothika, Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal have been roped in to play the female leads in Vijay 61. Apart from this, Vadivelu, S.J.Suryah, Sathyaraj and Sathyan are also part of this star cast. A.R.Rahman will compose the songs and background score for this film.

G.K.Vishnu, Ruben, Anl Arasu, and Muthuraj will take care of the cinematography, editing, stunt and art direction departments respectively. Legendary writer K.Vijayendra Prasad has written the screenplay for the film, which has the story, dialogues, and direction by Atlee. The film will go on floors from tomorrow (February 1) in Chennai, after which the team has planned to shoot in places like Punjab, the United States, and Europe.
