Vishal, 'Bharani' victors in Telugu film race

Hyderabad, April 7 (IANS) Tamil actor Vishal's dream run in Telugu cinema continues with yet another dubbed film of his opening to a great response. "Bharani" tops the list of the fortnight's Telugu films.

The top five Telugu films are:

1. "Bharani" - Unlike in his earlier mass-oriented films, lanky Vishal tries to woo family audience this time. So far, he seems to be succeeding.

2. "Evaidaithe Nakenti" - This surprise hit of this season comfortably crosses the 50-day mark to re-launch action star Rajsekar. The story of an upright home minister mowing down his rivals has enthralled the masses.

3. "Okkadunadu" -Gopichand's action flick has remained an urban hit. Probably the masses elsewhere couldn't digest the rare blood group theory. However, the film has launched Chandrasekar as a star filmmaker.

4. "Madhumasam" - The pairing of Sumanth and Sneha has turned to be a winner for thespian Ramanaidu who found a novel script to stage a comeback.

5. "Desamuduru" - With new releases collapsing, another Allu Arjun hit is back in this list and director Puri Jagannath is laughing all the way to the bank.
