Tuneega Tuneega on July 20

The news is that MS Raju's Tuneega Tuneega is set to hit the screens on July 20. The film stars Sumanth Ashwin and Ria Chakravarthy in the leads. Karthik Raja (Illayaraja's elder son is the music director).

The film should have released in June. However, some portions of the film were reshot to perfect it, presumably on Dil Raju's suggestion. "When he first narrated me the story for half an hour, I told him that it will become a super hit. Despite the content of Mr. Perfect being so strong, we felt there was something lacking after watching the first copy. We rectified it in time and the film went on to become a big hit. The same thing has happened with Tuneega Tuneega also. The film was re-shot for a week. It is looking alright now. We are planning to release the film in this month," Dil Raju said recently.

He predicted that Sumanth will become someone like Venkatesh and Allu Arjun, both sons of star producers. The film is about how the two youngsters, drowned in love, react to the opposition they meet from some quarters (presumably, from their parents). The premise does seem as old as Ramya Krishna, but it will be interesting to watch MS' unique touch.
