Pavan's comeback film tops Telugu list

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (IANS) Actor Pavan Kalyan's comeback film "Annavaram" makes it to the number one spot in Telugu top five list this time:

1."Annavaram" - Pavan Kalyan bounces back with a vengeance with his latest action movie "Annavaram". The film is about brother-sister sentiment and is doing wonders at the box office.

2."Rakhi" - Aggressive promotion by NTR Junior, who toured the state, has helped the film sustain its good collections. Director Krishna Vamsi's concept of a vigilante killing those who ill-treat women has re-launched the careers of both the actor and the director.

3."Desamuduru" - Allu Arjun's antics and dances have been received well, but the film's contrived second half has scuttled its chances of becoming a blockbuster.

4."Yogi" - Prabhas uses his physique to perfection as he decimates villains to become a messiah. The mother's sentiment in the film reminds you of "Chatrapathi", but director Vinayak manages to succeed despite taking up an oft-repeated plot.

5."Bhagyalaxmi Bumper Draw" - Rajendraprasad and a band of comedians provide another hit for director Nidhi Prasad. The remake of Hindi hit "Malamaal Weekly" has been received well.
