Mani Sharma scores mega hit with 'Ashok'

Hyderabad, June 13 (IANS) Composer Mani Sharma retains the top slot in the list with his typically star-centric album "Ashok". The top five Telugu albums are:


1. "Ashok" - Hotshot pair NTR Jr. and Samira Reddy are expected to electrify the audience with foot-tapping numbers like "Hola gola" and "Yekkantanga". Will Mani Sharma's latest album surpass his own sensational hit "Pokiri"?


2. "Vikramarkudu" - Director S.S. Rajamouli and composer Keeravani deliver another mass-oriented album. "Dooranga" and "Jum jum maaya" stand apart.


3. "Pokiri" - The film's stupendous success has sustained the audio's sales and set a new musical record. "Dole dole" and "Devuda devuda" top all the countdown shows.


4. "Godavari" - After "Anand", composer Radhakrishna again scores a hit with semi-classical tunes. The film's success has also helped sustain it on the shelves. "Manasavacha" and "Ramachakani Sita" are soothing for the ears.


5. "Sri Ramadasu" - Already enough has been written about its songs like "Allah" and "Ethirugananu".
