Mani Sharma regains top slot with 'Athadu'
Jul 21, 2005 B. Anuradha, Jul 21The top five Telugu albums are:
1. "Athadu": Mani Sharma does the trick by mixing melodies and foot-tapping numbers in right measure. "Avuna Nijam" and "Neetho Cheppana" are very catchy, enabling the composer to score another hit after "Okadu" and "Arjun".
2. "Aparachitudu": The film's huge success has helped the audio, giving composer Harris Jayaraj another hit. "Love Elephantla" and "Konda Kaaki" are chartbusters.
3. "Muddula Koduku": After the highly successful "Chandramukhi", Vidyasagar should be hoping to find a place in Telugu cinema. His latest for A.M. Rathnam is youthful and interesting. "Do Re Me" and "Kadile Silpam" stand apart.
4. "Super": Hindi composer Sandeep Choutha relies on Western beats to suit the niche film and the audio will probably pick up once the film is released. "Gichi Gichi" and "Mila Mila" are interesting.
5. "Anukokunda Oka Roju": Leading composer Keeravani proves his mettle yet again. After impressing with mass films and love stories, he belts out a good album for a suspense thriller. "Evaraina Chustuntara" and "Shaina Na Na'" are catchy tunes.
