Inspiration for Vikram's character in Shiva Thaandavam

As you know, Vikram is playing a blind man in Shiva Thaandavam, directed by AL Vijay. The character has been inspired from a real individual, by name Daniel Kish, who lives in the United States. He is following into Chennai to specially share his experiences in the presence of the film's cast and crew with the media on Sep 12.

Also starring Jagapathi Babu, the film has Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson playing the female lead roles. Lakshmi Rai is also seen. Music is by GV Prakash.

It is one of those rare occasions where the makers are sticking to the long-announced release date (Sep 28 in Tamil and Telugu). In fact, UTV even released Mugamoodi (Mask) on August 31 as announced, which is a rarity in the Tamil film industry as the release dates of biggies see several changes in here.
