Chakri's 'Desamuduru' tops Telugu album charts

Hyderabad, Jan 11 (IANS) The hotshot combo of director Puri Jagannath and composer Chakri takes the music of "Desamuduru" to the top of the list.

The top five Telugu albums are:

1. "Desamuduru" - "Attantode" and "Gola" are popular numbers. Puri and

Chakri may be on the verge another musical blockbuster like "Idiot" and

"Amma Nanna...".

2. "Yogi" - After "Lakshmi", director Vinayak teams up with composer

Ramagogula to belt out another peppy album. "Orori Yogi" and "Gana Gana" are chartbusters.

3. "Maharathi" - Kannada composer Guru Kiran arrives in Telugu filmdom with a lilting album. "Balakrishna Balakrishna" has left his fans ecstatic while "Kamala Kucha..." is a topper.

4. "Annavaram" - The film's grand opening has helped the music to sustain. The heady combination of Pavan and Ramana Gogula has recreated their old magic. "Mehabooba"" is all the rage.

5. "Rakhi" - Composer Devisri Prasad relies more on beats to score a few mass-oriented tunes. "Raki Rakhi" and "Zara Zara" have mesmerised his fans.
