Wedding bells ring for Mamta

Mamta Mohandas, the glam girl from Mollywood will be getting engaged in just a couple of months. This has been confirmed by a family member of the actress.

Mamta will be getting engaged to a longtime family friend who is based in Bahrain. However details on the groom are strictly under wraps and the family will be divulging more details only post the actress' engagement, reveal sources in the know.

The wedding will most probably be fixed in the first half of 2012. There were reports earlier doing the rounds that Mamta's parents were on the look for Mr. Perfect for their daughter, and now their search seems to have ended.

The actress, who hit the screen with a bang post her health setbacks, has been part of many recent hits in Mollywood and Kollywood in which she had meaty roles. Lined up for release is 'Nayika' directed by Jayaraj, in which she stars with veteran actor Sarada. She has also sung in the film which will be released this Onam. Besides, there are KK Rajeev's 'Njaanum Ente Familyum' and Shyama Prasad's 'Nuna' in which she plays major roles. Her next film in Tamil is 'Thadayira Thakka,' with Arun Vijay.'
