Vishaka in Santhanam's 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaya'

Actress Vishaka plays the heroine in Santhanam’s maiden production ‘Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaya’. Co-producer is Rama Narayanan.

Santhanam, Power Star Srinivasan and a debutant are in the lead. But Vishaka is the only heroine.

The comedy flick, directed by Manikandan, started rolling on July 9 in Kumbakonam.

Thaman scores the music for the songs written by Viveka.

Actress Vishaka shot to fame after her role with Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in Ashutosh Gowriker’s ‘Kelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’. She debuted in Kollywood with ‘Pidichirukku’. She did an ad film with Trisha.

It is said the film is about three guys and the twists in their fates highlighting the importance of friendship.

Seeing her in one of the ads, director Manikandan called her for an audition. She accepted the offer as she liked the script, sources said.
