Vimal bags 'Bengaluru Thamizhan'

Chennai, Oct 19 (IANS) Actor Vimal, known for National Award winning Tamil films such as "Pasanga" and "Vaagai Sooda Vaa", has signed yet another film in the same language titled "Bengaluru Thamizhan".

In total, the actor now has five Tamil projects in his kitty.

"Vimal has signed 'Bengaluru Thamizhan'. It will be directed by Seenu Ramaswamy. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced shortly. Meanwhile, the shooting for the film will start after the director's upcoming Tamil film 'Neerparvai'," a source told IANS.

Currently shooting for Tamil comedy "Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga", Vimal also has three other Tamil films lined up - "Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal, "Rendavathu Padam" and "Sillunu Oru Sandippu".

Low-budget Tamil movies "Kalavani" and "Vaagai Sooda Vaa" had earned him a lot of critical acclaim.
