Vijay Antony's third venture titled 'Salim'

Music director Vijay Antony, who has turned an actor with his own production ‘Naan’, has announced he would do a film titled ‘Salim’, which was the name of the character he portrayed in his debut film ‘Naan’.

‘Salim’ will be Antony’s third venture to be taken up along with his second project ‘Thirudan’ after ‘Naan’.

Though ‘Naan’ received mixed response, a confident Antony has said fans accepted him as an actor and he would continue to do films.

The music director/actor told the media that he would be simultaneously working on both ‘Salim’ and ‘Thirudan’. He would be shooting for both soon.

The cast and crew of these films are yet to be finalized. At this stage he would only say that he would have a new heroine in ‘Thirudan’.

Explaining why he named his third project ‘Salim’, he said this character is close his heart _ it was the first character he donned. Moreover, the name ‘Salim’ fits one of the characters the script has conceptualized.
