'Vettayadu Vilayadu' top Tamil album

Chennai, June 27 (IANS) Nobody knows when "Vettayadu Vilayadu" will hit the stands. The only consolation for the producer is that the audio is a bit of a hit. Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja's "Vallavan" has not succeeded in overtaking "Vettayadu Vilayadu" in the last two weeks.

The top five Tamil albums are:

1. "Vettayadu Vilayadu" - Music: Harris Jayaraj - "Partha mudhal" by Bombay Jayashri and Unni Menon is one of the most popular songs on the music channels.

2. "Vallavan" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja - The track "Podu Aattampodu" sung by Vijay Yesudas is currently the hot favourite.

3. "Chithiram Pesuthadi" - Music: Sundar C. Babu - Will there be anyone in Tamil Nadu who doesn't know the song "Vaala meenukkum" by Gana Ulaganathan!

4. "Imsai Arasan Pulikesi 23rd" - Music: Sabesh-Murali - A new entrant in the list. The song "Aah aadiva padiva leda" by Manikka Vinayagam is slowly becoming a hit.

5. "Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja - The film was a disaster, but the album by Yuvan Shankar Raja is still popular, especially the song by the brother-sister duo Yuvan and Bhavadharani.
