Tulasi attending workshop for 'Kadal' actors

Former actress Radha’s younger daughter Tulasi, who recently replaced Samantha for the lead role in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kadal’, is in Chennai attending a workshop being conducted by the ace director for the film’s actors.

Debutant Tulasi, who is studying in Std.X, is being trained in dance, theatre, acting and of course, dialogue delivery.

Tulasi’s sister Karthika, who came into the limelight through K.V. Anand’s ‘Ko’ starring Jiiva, says she is nervous because her sister is making her debut through a Mani Ratnam film.Tulasi is in Class 10 and has to appear for the Board examinations. She would have waited but for Mani Ratnam. It’s a dream project. Mani is one of the best directors of all time. He helms the project and A.R. Rahman is setting the music. Who does’nt want to be part of such a project? Karthika wonders.

Karthika says she had not trained her sister before her debut. Her mother Radha had not spoonfed her before she entered filmdom. Tulsasi will also be left to fend for herself, she added..
