Thiruchendur Soorasimharan highlight of 'Sevarkodi'

Makarantha Kamalakar of Banneri Pictures is producing a film titled 'Sevarkodi'. Director Radha Mohan's assistant R. Subramanian directs the film.



Swimming champion Arun Balaji plays the hero and Bhama is the heroine.



Sathya of 'Engeyum Eppodum' scores the music. P. Selvadurai is the cameraman.



Talking about 'Sevarkodi', Subramanian says misunderstandings are the root cause of anger and rage, which create a lot of problems on all sides. The screenplay is based on a true-life incident that took place in the famous temple town of Thiruchendur where the main attraction is the annual 'Soorasamharam' festival. Lakhs of people throng the town to witness the event. The hero, the heroine and the villain happen to meet during this festival. They wrongly understand each other. What happens when they meet again at the 'Soorasamharam'one year later is a gripping tale that is narrated in the film.



Its highlight is the live coverage of Soorasamharam shot with five cameras.
