Sundar C's 'Kalakalappu' team doing another comedy caper

Sundar C’s latest release ‘Kalakalappu' starring Vimal, Siva, Santhanam, Oviya and Anjali, is claimed to be a big success at the BO. So happy are the makers that they are planning another comedy flick.

Director Sundar says humour would always work and the success of ‘Kalakalappu’ had never been in doubt.

What he is now thinking of doing is not exactly part two of Kalakalappu. The storyline and characterization will be different.

Comedian Santhanam, who gave a fine performance in Kalakalappu, will have a lengthier role in the new film and will also have a pair in this flick.

G. Dhananjayan from UTV, producers of ‘Kalakalappu’ said the audience reaction has been a boost to the entire cast and crew. The audience asks what is next from this cast who have delivered an excellent entertainer. The question now is “how can we take it to the next level.”

Two songs from ‘Kalakalappu’ _ Angelina and Ivaluga Imsai _ have become hits. Vijay Ebenezer, who scored the music, will be working on the next project as well.

Sundar says it is two early to talk about the storyline, but it will be another laugh riot.
