Sozha Creations' next production is 'Kapadam'

Sozha Ponnurangam of Sozha Creations has come up with his next film titled ‘Kapadam’.

Jothi Murugan, who has assisted Selvaraghavan in ‘Ayirathil Oruvan’, Radha Mohan in ‘Azhagiya Theeye’, Simbu Devan’s ‘Imsai Arasan 23am Pulakesi’ and C.S. Amudan in ‘Tamizh Padam’, makes his debut as a director through ‘Kapadam’.

The film has two male leads _ Sachin of ‘Yaathumaagi’ fame and ‘Ariyan’ Santhosh. Playing opposite them are Angana Roy and Anika respectively. Selvakumar and ‘Kadhal’ Saravanan are also in the cast, which includes many new faces.

Jothi Murugan says the film is an extravagant romantic thriller and the theme is ‘naagarigam’. It has been shot for 35 days – 15 days outdoor and 10 days in Chennai.

The film portrays two youngsters and the love and lust between them, their marital life and conflicts.

The music is by Sashi, who has worked with Devi Sri Prasad, Shivamani and Thamani as a keyboard player. Bobby is the dance choreographer. Others in the crew are: Sabir (art), Na. Muthukumar (lyrics) and M.K. Mani (dialogues).

Sozha Creation's earlier productions were Ajith’s ‘Amaravathy’, ‘Thalaivasal’, Saathi Sanam’, 'Kalatpadai', ‘Oru Kallooriyin Kathai' and ‘Yaathumaagi’.
