Selvaraghavan to work with Harris?

It looks like there could be a new duo in K-town. Yes, director Selvaraghavan is said to have approached hit music director Harris Jayaraj to compose for his next film 'Irandaam Ulagam', which stars Arya and Anushka.

Confirms a source, "Yes, Harris has been approached but nothing has been committed yet,". One reason why the composer is taking his time to agree seems to be the fact that he is currently busy with his world tour, which kick starts on October 2 in Chennai and will go on till January 2012. "I have decided not to take up any new projects in the next four months," Harris had said at a recent press meet organized to announce his tour.

Earlier this year, Harris had tweeted that he will be teaming up with Selva for a Telugu film starring Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan but now, we learn that Selva is doing that film in Tamil as 'Irandaam Ulagam'. Post his alleged fall-out with Yuvan Shankar Raja, with whom he has worked with for four films, Selva moved on to G V Prakash for 'Aayirathil Oruvan' and 'Mayakkam Enna'.

On the other hand Harris has had a string of hits in recent times and the music of all of Selva's films have gone on to become chartbusters. This combo could be potent force in the Tamil film music scene.
