Superstar Rajinikanth has predicted that his forthcoming movie Sivaji will be a record-breaking commercial hit. It is expected to be released during summer even as the euphoria created by his "Chandramukhi" is still continuing unabated.

Rajini made a surprise visit to Tirupati-Tirumala where he offered worship at the Sri Venkateswara temple on Feb. 15th night. It raised many eyebrows as few know that Tirumala is also in his list of places of worship. His favorite destination is Himalayas where he goes often for meditation and relaxation.

His visit to Tirupati/Tirumala was a surprise. He spent almost an hour inside the Balaji temple and was given prasadam by the temple authorities. As news of Rajini's visit spread in the temple town, Media persons and cameramen gathered in large numbers outside the temple. More than 300 fans also joined them and were waiting.

It was 8.50 p.m when Rajini came out of the temple. He walked fast to his as the waiting media persons and photographers and fans rushed to meet him, amidst slogans of "Rajinikanth Vazhga." Rajini talked to mediapersons and answered their questions hurriedly.

When asked about his latest film Sivaji, the actor replied that it came out 'very well'. He had visited the Tirumala temple before the shooting of this film commenced. "I had prayed that the film should shape up well. Now that the shooting is over and the film has come out very well as he had wished, I came again to offer worship at the temple and sought God's blessings for the grand success of the film. I will visit the temple after the release of the film and my prayer is granted."

What is the storyline? Rajinikanth evaded the question and said if he told the story at the spot, it won't be understood. "You will understand only when you see the film".

Asked to comment on Director Shankar's work, Rajinikanth said he has done a wonderful job and it is certain that the film would be a great commercial success. What is the film which the actor considered as his best so far? "Basha', pat came the reply. Rajini added that compared to Basha, Sivaji has come out "hundred times" better.
