Radhika Apte stars in Rudhran's 'Vetri Chelvan'

Radhika Apte stars in Rudhran's maiden directorial venture 'Vetri Chelvan'. The actress had played opposite Vivek Oberai in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Raktha Charithram'.

Ajmal is the hero. Playback singer Mano and Shariff are the two other lead characters.. Ganja Karuppu plays an important role.

Mani Sharma is the music director and Ramesh Kumar is the cinematographer.

Rudhran has written the story, screenplay and dialogues. He was the assistant director for

'Yavarum Nalam' and has more than 100 ad films under his belt.

Three persons banished by society become achievers and win over the same society. . How this metamorphosis takes place in a revolutionary manner is narrated in the film .A hospital scene with a crowd of 500 people was filmed in a mammoth set put up in Chennai. The shooting is continuing in Tumkur, Mysore and Coorg.
