Pandiraj screens 'Marina' for cancer kids

'Marina' director Pandiraj had announced at the film's audio launch that he would spend the profits from this venture on the welfare of poor children and destitutes, the likes of whom are found on the Chennai beach.
As a starter, there was a special screening of 'Marina' for children below ten years of age who are affected by cancer, on Feb. 15, which is observed as International Childhood Cancer Day. The film's hero Sivakarthikeyan and actress Anjali were present.
Pandiraj along with Mu Kalanchiyan, president of Tamizhar Nalam Kalai Panpattu Iyakkam, organized the show.
Anjali is quoted as saying that she was amazed by the strong will of the kids. 'I told them that cancer is curable and with the right attitude, they will be able to lead their life joyfully again. I am sure the kids are the confident lot.' Click the Movie button below for more info:
