Oviyaa is the new addition to 'Agaradhi' team

Films based on popular novels are not a new phenomenon in Tamil cinema industry. The latest to join the list is critically acclaimed writer Rajesh Kumar's novel 'Iravil Oru Vanavil', which has been transferred to celluloid and titled 'Agaradhi'. This crime thriller, which features Pradheep in the lead, has four girls including Monica, Archana, Keerthi Chawla and the most recent addition is Oviyaa of 'Kalavani' fame. Unlike her lackluster cameo in Kamal Haasan's 'Manmadhan Ambu', Oviyaa who replaced actress Soundarya will play an important character in the film.

Explains the debut-making director Naga Venkatesh,'' The film does not have a hero or a heroine. It's a character driven film. While retaining the essence of the novel, I have tried out a unique screenplay. The movie also imparts a message that relationships are more important than money. Sundar C Babu has composed some energetic tracks''.
