Both the hero and the heroine are new faces Rahul and Uthara Unni. Rama, Rajeshwari and Jyothi do pivotal characters.
Suresh directs the film in addition to writing the story, screenplay and dialogues. This is his fourth film after ‘Arasu’, ‘Gambhiram’ and ‘Sabari’.
Y.N. Murali is the cinematographer. Jerome Pushparaj is the composer. On behalf of Raju Movies, A. Karuppiah produces the film.
A special feature of the film is the relay of the famous car festival of Kumbakonam Sarangapani Temple captured through the lens of Murali. The climax scene was shot in Chennai for five days. The exact location was the Pulianthope Maattuthotti.
Elaborating on the story, director Suresh said both bats and pigeons take shelter in temple towers (gopurams). For these gopurams, there is no question of distinguishing between these two different species of birds. They are different only in the eyes of those who look at them. Similarly, in a family, all children are equal and treated as such, This is the crux of the story, Suresh explained. Click the Movie button below for more info:
