The film's promotion campaign will start with the audio launch in a few days. Agnel Roman has scored the music.
According to Ganesh Venkatraman, 'Panithuli' is a romantic thriller of a new genre.
He plays an anti-hero and is excited about the character he plays and the storyline itself.
Many parts of the film were shot in Universal Studios in the United States. Stunt scenes shot in San Francisco City are the highlights. Ganesh has learnt 'snowboarding' for being used in stunts in which he took part. (Snowboarding is a sport that involves descending a slope covered with snow.)
Touching briefly on the storyline, Ganesh says the lead character, Shiva, a software engineer, loves Meera (one of the heroines). He has no goal in life and leads a care-free life. Meera sends him to America where what happens to him forms the story.
In Madhavan-starrer 'Unnaipol Oruvan', Ganesh played Arif Khan, a clever cop who tries to solve problems in an unconventional way. His acting was appreciated. He hopes his role in 'Panithuli' will also be widely talked about.
The film will be released in Hindi also.
