'Maatraan' audio release in Singapore

The audio of ‘Maatraan’ will be launched in Singapore most probably on Aug. 9. Directed by K.V. Anand and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, the film has Suriya and Kajal Agarwal in the lead. Suriya plays the dual role of brothers born as Siamese twins. The differently-abled siblings have adopted different ways of life, which ‘Maatraan’ portrays skillfully.

Harris Jayaraj has scored the music. Anand says they are considering several locations in Singapore for the audio launch function, which will be held on a grand scale. An auditorium, which can seat not less than 10,000 people, is needed. They are looking for such a venue. Procuring visas is another task. In any case, the audio will be out by Aug.10

Sony has bought the audio rights for Rs. 1.20 crore. Eros International has secured the film distribution rights.
