Karunas goal is to act as hero in 10 films

Pooja was performed recently to launch director Shakthi Chidambaram's comedy flick 'Machan' with Karunas playing the hero. The makers had sent a glitzy 16-page invitation to the guests for the function.

Karunas speaking at the function said he is playing the protagonist in three films and has delivered two hits. His goal is to complete ten films as hero. This will help change the notion that comedians cannot become full-fledged heroes.

Shakthi Chidambaram is making his debut as an actor in this film. Actor Ramesh Aravind also makes a comeback with 'Machan'.

Sheryl Pinto is Karunas love interest in this film. Vivek joins Karunas in the laugh riot. Namitha plays Vivek's sweetheart.

Srikanth Deva is the composer.

Shooting will start once the rest of the cast and crew is finalized.
