Cheran in talks with Sarva for 'Neon Nagaram'

Cheran who has taken a break off directing films after 'Pokkisham' in 2009, returns to wield the megaphone again. He says he is in talks with actor Sarva for a film on music plagiarism based on the musical novel 'Neon Nagaram' by the Paadhai team. An official announcement will be made after the project takes shape.
'Neon Nagaram' is the Paadhai team's second musical novel and it was launched in July ,2011 by Cheran and actor Prasanna. Shammer and Shiva conceived 'Neon Nagaram' after hearing the story of a sound engineer who became a victim of plagiarism.
The last film Cheran directed was 'Pokkisham' in 2009. Padmapriya played the heroine in this period love story. He has to his credit award winning films 'Porkkaalam', 'Vetri Kodi Kaattu' and 'Autograph'.
He is currently shooting for director Vasanth's 'Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal'. After 2009, he acted in Mysskin's 'Yuddham Sei' and debutant director Raja Madhav's 'Muran'.
