Bharathiraja introduces Subikha in 'Annakodiyum…'

Director Bharathiraja, who is currently shooting ‘Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum’ at Theni, has introduced a new face, Subiksha, in the film. This is her debut in Tamil and she plays the wife of the hero.

Subiksha from Bellary knows four languages and is a Bharatanatyam dancer.She is already working on a Malayalama film, ‘Friendship’, directed and produced by Khader Hassan.

The shooting of ‘Annakodiyum…’ has picked up momentum after Bharathiraja made changes in the story and the cast.

First he replaced Parthepan with Ameer who also had to drop out some time later. Ameer was to play opposite Ineya, but she also believed to have quit the project. Who is Subiksha’s hero now? It is not known whether Lakshmanan and Karthika have been retained after the story was changed.
