Audio of Prem Nizar's 'Ishtam' launched

The audio of 'Ishtam' starring Vimal, Nisha Aggarwal and Anoop was launched recently. This is director Prem Nazir's debut film.

The songs composed by Thaman target the youngsters. Prem Nizar says a romantic duet, 'Naanaga Naan Illai' and a fusion number 'Venaam Venaam' are the album's highlights.

The editing work has been completed and re-recording is in progress for the film.

Only one song remains to be shot and it will be over in the next few days.

Nizar says they will start promoting the film in a big way.

'Ishtam' is a remake of the Telugu film 'Yemandi Ee Vela' (2010). Balaji Real Media bought the remake rights. Newcomer Prem Nizar, a former assistant of director Chakri Toleti, has been chosen as the director for 'Ishtam'.

Vimal, who plays the lead, has undergone a complete makeover as a city man. He had played a rural youth in 'Pasanga','Kalavi', and 'Eththan'.

Kajal Aggarwal played the female lead in the Telugu original. Her sister Nisha Aggarwal reprises her sister in 'Ishtam', which is her first Tamil film.

The Tamil remake was launched in August 2011 and the shooting was completed by the end of September, 2011 in a single schedule.
