Arivazhagan's next is based on basketball

Director Arivazhagan of 'Eeram' fame has decided to do a sports theme, with Nakul in the lead role. '' First of all, I want to thank my producer Ravichandran. At a time, when several producers were scared to back a sports based story. It was Ravichandran of Oscar films who came forward and agreed to produce the movie. And I am extremely grateful to him and will not let him down'', says Arivazhagan.

Arivazhagan further adds,'' Even though I am not a sports personality, I have decided to do a film based on basketball. At the same time only a few films in Tamil have been made on sports and I want to change that opinion. Moreover, apart from love, sport is what attracts the youth. This film is an action oriented one that sets in the college life. When coming to the hero, Nakul is my only choice for this movie and he gladly agreed my offer. Now we both are practicing basketball with the guidance of a sports trainer. The shooting will be started by March. Thaman is the music director''.
