After Amy, another British girl debuts in Kollywood

Attracted by Indian culture, a British girl falls in love with a Tamil boy. Both families oppose their marriage. As the girl’s love for the boy is so intense that her life would be meaningless if they don’t unit in wedlock. How she overcomes the opposition from the parents is the climax. The fact underlined in the film is that Indians are friendly to foreigners, but as a society they don’t approve of marrying a foreigner. Giving details of the film, director Shaan said it has been shot in London. The shooting locations included Manston, Kent’s international airport and Box Hill. A Belly dance is a major attraction.
United British Sun Shine Creations presents the film. The producers are Pon. Siva, Durai, Arun, Colin and Shanmuganathan.
How the makers zeroed in on Anara for the role of a British girl, Shaan said they had given advertisements in London newspapers calling for new faces. About 50 British girls had responded. One of them is Anara, a model, with looks of a Tamilian and with black hair.
