Adlabs to make four Tamil films with Madhavan

Anil Ambani's Adlabs is producing four more Tamil films with Madhavan in the lead.

After "Kiritam" featuring Ajith and Trishna, which was a remake of the Malayalam hit of the same title, Adlabs is currently making "Yavarum Nalam" featuring Madhavan and Neetu Chandra. This film is also being re-made in Hindi titled "13B".

Adlabs has Madhavan's nod to act in four more Tamil films to be produced by it.

According to Adlabs corporate chief Sourab Varma, besides acting, Madhavan has taken up film distribution and other film-related business ventures and his entrepreneurial skills are helpful to Adlabs. "We feel proud to continue working with him." Varma says.

Madhavan is all set to start work on the Tamil version of Shah Rukh Khan's hit "Yes Boss". A light-hearted comedy, the Tamil remake, yet to be named, will be directed by Selva and produced by KRG.

Madhavan will play the happy-go-lucky guy who wants to please his married boss who falls in love with a young model.

Mamata Mohandas will be the heroine. This will be her second film in Tamil. The original had Juhi Chawla playing opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Jayaram will play a pivotal role which Aditya Pancholi did in the original.

Madhavan's last Tamil release was "Evano Oruvan" an adaptation of the Marathi award winning film "Dombivili Fast", directed by Nishikant Kamat.
