Actress playing Nira Radia in ' Pathaayiram Kodi' dropped

Actress playing the character like that of high-profile political and corporate lobbyist Nira Radia, in the film ‘Pathaayiram Kodi’ has been dropped. Unit sources say her performance was not up to expectations and they are looking for a replacement.

Muktha Srinivasan’s son V. Srinivasan Sundar has written the story and is directing the film.

According to the story, Nira Radia-like character possesses jewels and cash running to Rs.10,000 crore. Four students loot them and drive with the booty in a car towards Mumbai. An undercover cop tails them in another car.

A new face that was cast in the role of the lobbyist has been dropped, as the director was not satisfied with her performance. Another actress to be selected will now play the role.

A new face from Mumbai, Druv, pairs up with Mumbai beau Madhal Shah in the film. Vivek plays the ‘secret’ cop. Teaming up with them are Cellmurugan, Alwavasu , Selvadurai, Sivanarayanamurthi, Mandanbop, Thyagu and Gokul.

K.S. Manoj is the music director. N.R. Srinivasan produces the film.
