Abavanan's assistant making a blood-curdling thriller

Director Abavanan opened a new chapter in Tamil cinema with his 'Oomaivizhigal'. His assistant Kamal is now making a film titled ' Marumugam' which is a 'blood-curdling' thriller. It is expected to set a new trend in this genre.

Daniel Balaji and Anoop are the two heroes. Mumbai beau Ranya has been introduced as heroine. Banuchander and Uma Padmanabhan are playing important characters.

Daniel Balaji appears as a rich youth pining for love and affection. Ranya captivates him and he loves her. But she is in love with Anoop. Daniel Balaji comes to know of this, but he has no heart to give her up. He makes moves to possess Ranya but in the process he is unmasked. The other face of Daniel Balaji is what the story unveils.

Chennai Film Institute student Kanakaraj is the choreographer. Telugu music director Agasthya makes his debut in Tamil through this film.
