A love story that has never been told

Shanmugaraj, who has worked with director Cheran as assistant director, is making his directorial debut with a film titled 'Ayiram Muthangaludan Thenmozhi' It is a 'poetic' love story.

Speaking about his maiden venture, Shanmugaraj said since 1878 when cinema came into being , 8 lakh films have been produced but none of these films has the story like the one he has conceptualized for his film.. This genre of telling a story of romance has never been attempted before, he added. Moreover, the film will also give a new idea on how all lovers can succeed.

Seventy-one new faces, including Venkatesh and Akshara, who play the lead characters, are being introduced. Eminent psychiatrist Shalini acts in the film for the first time.

There are two cinematographers _ Joshi and Saravanan. The composer is Tajnoor.
