'Vilaapangalkkappuram' on June 12

Cochin, June.4 (NR): 'Vilaapangalkkappuram', directed by T.V. Chandran and produced by Aryadan Shaukath under the banner of Clear Images, is all set to hit the screens, on June 12.

It should be remembered that the film, which features story by Aryadan Shaukath and script by T.V. Chandran himself, was finished almost one year back. T.V.Chandran's 'Bhoomimalayalam', which was made afterwards, was released recently.

Priyanka Nair, of 'Veyil' fame, does the lead role in 'Vilaapangalkkappuram', which focuses on the plight of women in our society, with the Gujarat riots as the backdrop. The cast also includes Suhasini, Biju Menon, Irshad, Sudheesh, M.R. Gopakumar, Thilakan, Nandu, Indrans, Sreeraman etc. M.G. Radhakrishnan does the cinematography while Isaac Thomas Kottukapally is in charge of the music. The film will be brought to the theatres by Marikkar Release.
