Mizhikal Sakshi on June 20

The Ashok R. Nath-directed Mizhikal Sakshi, which has veteran actress Sukumari donning the key role of an aged lady named Kuniyamma, is slated for release on the 20th of June, as per reports. The film, produced by V.R. Das under the banner of Cyber Vision, also has Mohanlal donning a guest role, that of Kuniyamma's son.

Scripted by Anil Mukhathala, Mizhikal Sakshi is director Ashok R. Nath's third film, the first two being Saphalam (which was a very sensitive film that won much acclaim) and December (which was a failure on all counts). Mizhikal Sakshi also has in the cast Krishna Prasad, Nedumudi Venu, Jagathi Sreekumar, Kochupreman and Vijayaraghavan.

The film has songs penned by veteran ONV Kurup and set to tune by Dakshinamoorthy, one of the most revered composers in Malayalam Cinema. Ramachandra Babu is in charge of cinematography and Paavumba Manoj does the art-direction.
