Yes, I am married and have a two year old kid, says Ashwini

B'lore, Oct.11 (NR): She has already acted in eight Kannada films as a heroine and the media did not know that the young girl who was wooing the heroes on screen was already married and having a two year kid. Well, Ashwini has recently revealed what many people thought was a well kept secret.

"I am married to a businessman dealing with granite. His name is Girish. I am now acting in films only with his permission. He does not oppose my decision to take up film assignments," said Ashwini who had her debut in a film curiously titled as Dark.

But why did she keep the issue of her marriage as a dark secret when she had already in eight Kannada films. "Frankly none of my media friends had asked me about it. And I did not reveal anything about it. Should I tom tom everybody that I am already married. If anyone had asked me, I would have revealed it as I am doing now. I am acting in films because I have liked it," said Ashwini.

Ashwini's future films include Yaaradhu with Vinod Raj, Hey Sarasu with Ramesh Arvind, Banna and others. She had acted in films like Chickpete Sachagalu, Mooraneya Class Manja B.Com Bhagya and Varasdhaara.

"My husband says that he will not oppose my decision to act in films if I am not part of the gossip mills. He does not like me to expose on screen. I have ensured that I will not expose, though I would like to look glamorous on screen," says Ashwini. Click the Movie button below for more info:
