With 'Love', comes romance in Dubai and Varanasi

Bangalore, June 7 (IANS): Director S.V. Rajendra Singh Babu is launching son Audithya in the Kannada film "Love".


Scheduled for a Thursday release, it is also being produced in Telugu as "Prem Nagar" with the same stars and technical crew.


The multimillion-extravaganza has been shot extensively in Dubai and Varanasi besides in the Ramoji Rao studios.


The film has Bollywood's well-known villain Amrish Puri and Malayalam star Mohan Lal in important roles. Mohan Lal plays the role of a Malayali taxi driver in Dubai and Amrish the villainous father of the heroine.


Rakshitha oozes glamour as the heroine in both versions of the film. The Telugu version has Kota Sreenivasa Rao and comedian Sunil in important roles.


According to Rajendra Singh Babu, the film is a love story with a difference. He says Anu Malik has "given his best for the film", and adds that "Love" and "Prem Nagar" will open "the gateway for more film offers in the south for Bollywood's busiest music director".


Audithya had his initial training in Namith Kapoor's acting institute in Mumbai, besides special lessons in fights and dances. He had assisted in the production of his father's earlier directorial ventures like "Kruigalu Saar Kurigalu" and "Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu".


For Rakshitha, who had some bad releases in Telugu, the film may well prove to be a turning point in her caree
