Bangalore, Aug 9 (IANS) Even as a colourful tapestry of culture, acrobatics and pyrotechnics was woven at the Beijing Olympics that began at 08-08-08-08-08-08 (Aug 8, 2008 at 8.08.08 p.m.), closer home and at exactly the same time, the Vishnuvardhan starrer "Master" was launched here.

The film was launched Friday in Mysore. The first shot was panned at the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore in the presence of many film personalities and hundreds of fans of superstar Vishnuvardhan.

On the same day, many big releases like "Singh Is Kinng" in Hindi and "Bombaat" in Kannada were released.

"Master" is being produced by Manohar, a realtor and floriculturist, whose first film was "Orata".

Already his second film "Janumada Gelathi" is on the verge of completion. Now, Manohar is making his third film with "Janumada Gelathi" director Dinesh Babu. The film "Master" will have Vishnuvardhan and Suhasini Manirathnam in the lead.

Babu told mediapersons Thursday that the film revolves around a teacher's family and the trauma faced by the family and the relatives when a child of the family was kidnapped.

Vishnuvardhan plays a good samaritan teacher who makes all efforts to trace the child within the confines of the existing legal system.

Dinesh Babu said that he is focusing more on the trauma aspect that affect the family where one of the members is kidnapped. He did not give more details.

Vishnuvardhan said that working with Suhasini and Babu has always been a wonderful experience for him. "I cherish memories of working with Babu who knows many things beyond the film making. And he is an exceptional technician. As far as Suhasini, she is my best heroine till date," said Vishnuvardhan.

Suhasini Manirathnam said that in her 28 years of film career she has always considered acting with Vishnu as more challenging.

"I will be happiest when I get an opportunity to work with a great artist like Vishnuji who has become one in our family.

"We have lot of respects for him. I think to act with him in many sequences written by Babu will be a real task cut out for me. I have not heard the entire story, but what more can I ask for other than getting another opportunity to work with Vishnuji and Babu again," said Suhasini.

Babu had earlier directed hit film "Suprabhata" with the same team of lead artists.
